Turning Ingredients into Impact

For RiceSelect, our team was tasked with developing a print advertisement aimed at grocer buyers, with the challenge of standing out in a highly saturated landscape of conventional food ads. Complicating the process, the newly launched product line lacked high-resolution packaging imagery, requiring a creative workaround to maintain visual quality and brand integrity.

We approached this challenge by rethinking the product itself as the hero. Using the actual rice, we crafted a custom food illustration that visually connected to the headline and brought a sense of artistry and originality to the piece. This solution elevated the ad beyond traditional product photography and created a memorable, engaging visual story.

The campaign resonated strongly with the client, leading RiceSelect to expand the concept across additional products and into a trade show environment. For the event, we translated the idea into a large-scale backdrop banner, using the products to form their logo and tagline. We also designed cylindrical display tables constructed from the product packaging, creating functional yet visually cohesive spaces for conversation and engagement. The result was a unified brand experience that carried the original concept seamlessly from print to physical space.
